Wow I suck at blogging. I guess it seems like doing homework that I know the teacher isn't going to check. Heck, I don't think my boyfriend even reads this.
ANYWAYS, it's been one roller coaster of a summer. And now that fall is near, the holidays are just around the corner. And the end of another year. And THIS time, I want to be at my skinniest. Like, for real. Had a few setbacks... vacation and adjusting to WW on Thursdays instead of Mondays. The Monday weigh-in really did help keep focus over the weekend so it's been hard adjusting. I really need to step up the exercising. Jeez, I KNOW I'm in a better mood when I exercise. It should be a no brainer. I'm gonna start using this blog to schedule and record my workouts. Even if no one reads this, it's still out there.
So tonight I will do some ellipticalling. Already walked 2.5 miles at lunch. Tomorrow I will do an exercise video and Thursday is Wii day. Check back in to hear my progress!

Walked about a mile at lunch on Friday and another mile with Moreen around the Butterworth's block. Completed 1000 revolutions on my elliptical tonight for another mile bringing my total to 5 miles so far. (My weeks for my 500 mile project end on Wednesdays.) This is in addition to any fitness classes or workout videos do! I'm hoping if I can keep this up, I can make my goal weight of 170 before Christmas! |

Walked 2 miles today! Thank goodness for a cool breeze. Went to Target and back. |

So it's no secret that I love iphone apps. The new app I found today is called "Goal Meter". You set a goal, pick the increment, and have a goal number to reach. One of my favorite songs from the 80's is Proclaimer's "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)", so the first goal is to log 500 miles. Walking, running, ellipticalling, or treadmilling. 500 miles in 50 weeks. At 10 miles per week, I feel like it's a reasonable and achievable goal.

So we are heading back to Panama City Beach for the second year - and really hoping we can continue making this an annual vacation!
Two months. My goal is to lose at least 10 pounds before we go.
There will be a few hurdles - it's all mental. Why is it so hard to choose wisely?

So last night Bailey was a bit freaked out by the thunderstorms. I went and grabbed him and put him next to me in bed. And surprisingly, he stayed and slept in my arms all night! When I got home from work, he was being extra sweet and kept rubbing on my legs and begging for food. So I fed him and not 5 minutes later he threw it up! Of course it was on the carpet, a mere 2 inches from the tiled floor. Ah the joys of having a cat.
